Fresh Out of Ideas

As you know I'm going on my first trip to Europe. So I am now desperately seeking some comfy, TRENDY shoes that I can prance around Europe in. I don't want to wear sneakers. Besides ballet flats, what are some other options? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

New Recipe

I think my (Tazo) Earl Grey tea has some kind of effect that makes me awfully bubbly. I've never noticed this mood enhancing effect before. Maybe I'm just excited that my Euro. trip is less than a month away, or could it be I have a pair of Wellies arriving today? (Will post a pic later today) Or my encounter with the cute Whole Foods employee was more amusing than I realized. What ever the reason is for my sudden glee, I must say I am very appreciative, because its Monday morning and things are not always this cheery.

I'm Such A Kid

I'm sitting up for the second night in a row, trying to transfer everything from my Sidekick to my new Blackberry that I got in yesterday and although I'm extremely tired I just want to stay up all night and play with my new toy. There's got to be a name for this sickness.

I'm on a roll!

Look what T-Mobile's got. I think its time for me to finally let my Sidekick addiction go. I was about to upgrade my Cingular phone, oops "ATT" phone to the Curve but to my surprise T-Mobile just got these in. (Yes I still have two phones) For the record Tmobile has better plans for data phones/pda's, plus my faves, it doesn't get much better than that. So I may finally be giving up one of my phones.

I'm Back!

I was never really gone. A lot has been going on and I allowed myself to be completely consumed, and I didn't even blog about it.
Currently I am planning my first trip to Europe, and I am thrilled. First of all I cannot believe that I have never been, yet I know it will be one of my happy places, London in particular. (Don't ask me why) So when I thought "What do I want to do for my 27th b-day" I figured since the past few birthdays were flops I want to make this year a good one. And what better place to spend it in? So I am going for about 10 days and I will be going to London and Barcelona. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I will be doing many corny updates about this trip until I leave. And then continue with more annoying posts once I land.

Last Night...

I could not put it off any longer, I had to finish reading Harry Potter.
I was taking my time and savoring the final installment of this epic.
But, I couldn't take the suspense any longer. I was shocked, moved and
reduced to tears more than I can remember. The book was absolutely
brilliant. I LOVED IT!!! Like so many others, I became so attached to
the series, to that world, to the characters, to their cause. I am
crushed that the journey came to an end, but then, all good things have
to. "The Boy Who Lived" will always have a place in my heart.

What I'm Listening to Now: Wild Hope

I haven't done this post in a while, I've been letting my laziness get
the best of me. I will do better.
Now on to the music.
I can't stop listening to this little gem. I didn't think I would like
this album as much as I do. Wild Hope is the side of Mandy I've been
wanting to hear (bubble gum not included). WH is a great road trip
album. The songs are catchy and it doesn't come off as too heavy or
overly polished. Its its an honest, hopeful album.

I am so tired right now. I had a really good Yoga practice this evening
and normally I will take a shower and off to bed I go.... NORMALLY!
However tonight is a special night. Tonight, Harry Potter and the Order
of the Phoenix will show at 11:59 pm. You may call me hard core. And so
what if I am. I admit I'm a total nerd that totally loves this story.
And I've doing this ever since I became a fan. And even though I'm
really tired and have to get up at the crack of dawn. It will be worth
it all.

Call me nerdy but this is, by far, my FAVORITE show this year.

What I'm Listening To Now: James Morrison

I haven't done this post in awhile...
"Undiscovered" is one of my favorite albums of 2007. I love listening to
this album. James is such a talented artist, and whenever I come across
an artist that is better performing live then they are on their studio
album, my heart soars. James is wrapping up the U.S. Leg of his tour.
But don't fear if you missed him this time around he will be opening up
for the last leg of John Mayer's summer tour along with Ben Folds.

I have really been slacking with this blog...Sorry
I don't have any good excuses, besides I haven't made time to post. Very
poor, I know....will do better.
Totally after the fact...but wasn't John amazing on Wednesday night? I got my ALIFE tee. (I hope it shrinks the small is huge) Wasn't expecting to see Alicia, nice little treat, I'm not really a big fan of hers but it was still cool. I overheard this guy saying he thought the mystery voice was Jessica until Alicia Keys walked out. And then I thought to myself come on dude when have you ever heard Jess sound like that!?!?! Sorry I couldn't help myself.

Finally!

I got to see Dave Barnes live. And I am now complete. Not quite, but
seriously he was absolutely amazing. At first Dave and the band seemed a
bit off(sorry, but I have to be honest) but it didn't take long for something to click and they got it together and gave an incredible show. Its safe to say seeing him live totally validates why he's one of, if not my favorite male artist.

Side note: Last week I realized that he will be playing at The Bitter
End on March 6th (I think, the date is fuzzy). Oh well, I may just have
to go see him again...Rats!!!
My photography skills definitely left a lot to be desired Friday night
and out of the many pics I took these were the only ones I can
post...(yes they were all that bad. )

Just In Case You Were Wondering...

What song was playing on the previews for Men In Trees for the past few
weeks,(and I think it was played in last week's show) it is "New Shoes"
by Paolo Nutini. For my fellow iTunes fans it was a "Single Of The Week"
a few months ago. Anyway, its a really great song...its my new happy
song. (everyone should have at least one)

Coming To America

I love Becks and I am so excited that he will be playing here in the
States. (Confession...I've been a fan of David ever since he married
Posh)
I am not really a big sports fan. But every now and then I will get
totally sucked in. This being one of those times. So will I go to see
him play? Yes! Will I try to lure my friends into joining in on all the
fun? Absolutely!

Alright I think I'm all set....
Well almost, I really would love to get in to Anastasia....so someone
please cancel...its been three weeks since my last visit. And I don't
think I can wait another two weeks.

Bright Idea

So last night I said let me start the new year off right. Let me get in
a quick practice (Yoga of course) before I go home. Uh... The gym was
packed. It never dawned on me that everyone and their mother might had
the same idea. Not to mention everyone's New Years resolutions usually
begins with getting in shape/getting healthy. Last week there was
practically no one there this week you could hardly find a place to put
your mat. Despite the crowd, I had a wonderful practice. (Fyi, I'm not
really big on a crowded yoga class)luckily it won't last long.... That's
so horrible of me to say.
